Air cooler
The abbreviation of air cooler is a kind of heat exchange equipment with the most application of condensation and cooling in petrochemical and oil and gas processing production. Air cooler is generally composed of tube bundle, tube box, fan, shutter and frame and other major parts.
Air cooler is a device that uses ambient air as the cooling medium and sweeps the outside of the finned tube to cool or condense the high-temperature process fluid in the tube. It is referred to as "air cooler", also known as "air-cooled heat exchanger".
Air cooler is also called fin fan, commonly used instead of water-cooled shell-tube heat exchanger cooling medium.
With the increasing use of induction heating equipment, due to the different conditions of the users themselves, some do not pay enough attention to the water cooling system of the equipment, and some users do not use distilled water according to the regulations, but use ordinary well water or tap water. In actual work, the water quality has a great influence on the water cooling system and components of the equipment.
Scope of application
It is mainly used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy and other air coolers. It has the advantages of large air volume, high efficiency, low vibration, low noise, and convenient use and maintenance.
There are different types of fans, such as high-efficiency energy-saving type, low-noise type, anti-corrosion type, etc. The air volume adjustment mode of the fan can be divided into three types: self-adjustment, semi-self-adjustment and manual adjustment; the cooling mode can be divided into blast type and induced air type.
Main advantages
1. increase tube life (high-frequency equipment). Ordinary water is easy to scale and needs to be cleaned regularly. Once scaling has affected the emission power and life of the electron tube, and the anode of the electron tube is easy to burn through in serious cases.
2. save energy. (Take 100KW high frequency electronic tube equipment as an example) Under the action of DC high voltage, the power consumption of anode waterway to ground is: ordinary water is about 8KW, distilled water is about 70W.
3. reduce electrolytic corrosion. The anode high voltage forms a direct current to the ground through the water resistance. The electrolytic corrosion of the inlet and outlet of the water jacket of the electronic tube is caused, and the electrolytic corrosion rate of ordinary water is more than one hundred times that of distilled water.
The water storage tank of the air cooler is about 0.4~2.0 m3 according to the power of the equipment, and the price of pure water per ton is between 250 yuan and 300 yuan. Because the closed cycle is used, the consumption of distilled water is extremely low, which creates conditions for the use of distilled water. At the same time, if antifreeze products are added in a certain proportion, the winter freezing problem of high-frequency waterways can be completely solved. The use of distilled water not only improves the life of equipment and components, but also reduces maintenance costs, so as to achieve the purpose of improving productivity and saving electricity.
The 4. air cooler exchanges heat between the air and the softened water partition wall, and discharges the heat emitted by electrical components such as electric furnace inductors, thyristors, and electronic tubes into the air. The heat transfer tube with high thermal conductivity forms a high heat flux after combination, so the cooling efficiency of the device is very high. The continuous heat exchange of air is used to transfer heat to the air, which eliminates the accumulated heat and meets the temperature requirements of the induction heating system.
The cooling system uses distilled water to circulate in the air cooler and induction heating equipment in a closed circuit, and the water quality is clean, so that the cooled electrical system does not scale for a long time and is not blocked by foreign matter. In winter, antifreeze can be added to the cooling water to prevent the failure of the waterway from freezing and reduce the failure of the induction heating equipment. The cooling system does not require a pool and a cooling tower.
